October began with a community gathering as we celebrated the Transitus of St. Francis beginning at sundown.
Franciscans worldwide celebrate St. Francis' passing from earthly life to eternal life on the eve of October 3rd.

The community comes forward to bless the statue of St. Francis.
It is not a Franciscan Feast without a social to follow!
All enjoy a true Italian meal of spaghetti and garlic bread!
