Abundant Blessings

Students and faculty at St. Peter's School took part in a 2 mile Walk for Cancer.  All wore pink shirts in prayerful support of those battling cancer, those who have survived and those who have lost their lives.

Through the generosity of our benefactors, Joe Garagiola and Mr. and Mrs. Lou Grubb, St. Peter's received a NEW BUS to help transport students to and from school!!

Thank YOU Joe and Mr. and Mrs. Grubb!!

Students gathered outside of church
for the blessing of the bus.

Father Ed leads the school in prayer.

Following the prayer is the blessing of Joe...

who in turn blesses our bus drivers...

and then blesses our new bus!!!

Students then give their thanks
to Father, Joe and our bus drivers.

A wonderful gift to our school!!

Thank you to those who built the bus!!

All then gather in the church to give praise to God in the celebration of the school Mass.

Glorifying God in a sea of pink!!

October Happenings

October began with a community gathering as we celebrated the Transitus of St. Francis beginning at sundown.

Franciscans worldwide celebrate St. Francis' passing from earthly life to eternal life on the eve of October 3rd.

The community comes forward to bless the statue of St. Francis.

It is not a Franciscan Feast without a social to follow!
All enjoy a true Italian meal of spaghetti and garlic bread!

Hmmm... Which one will I take?

Enjoying the food...

 ...and friends!
