A Week of Prayer

Students, teachers and community members spent a moment in prayer Tuesday for all those who lost their lives on 9/11

We honored all those who have lost their lives fighting for our country including our former student Billy Farris.

Mrs. Tevlin led the school in prayer.

We also remembered Sister Hilda, Thursday, September 13 on her one year death anniversary.  

Sister served at St. Peter Indian Mission for twenty years.

The end of the week brought a close to monsoon rains.

May we all continue to hold to our cross in the weeks ahead!

Community Days

A day of Community gathering, Desert Sisters travel to Scottsdale to spend the day at The Casa.

Our meetings were held in the Portiuncula in the spirit of St. Francis and St Clare.

We discussed our community goals for the year.

We ended with prayer in the presence of the Lord.

Sister Martha gave the invocation as she has done for many years.

Tables were nicely decorated for the meal.
